Jaylen Hobdy is a filmmaker based in the New York area. He recently graduated from Full Sail University with his MFA in film production. He currently works as the Executive Co-Director of the Orlando International Film Festival, and the Producer of the recent podcast "FUNdamentals of Investing", a podcast hosted by the youth to teach other kids about the benefits of investing.

Jaylen Hobdy has directed 7 Short Films and 1 music video, three of which has won various awards in film festivals such as "Best Student Director", "Best Experimental Short", "Critics Award" and many more. Not only is he a director/producer, but is also knowledgeable of all responsibilities and jobs of all crew positions.

His short film "Shut In" released in 2020 during the Covid Pandemic. "Shut In" is a story of a young woman going through the different stages of being quarantined inside for a long period of time.  He worked as a one man crew working to create a super short film for the Roger Corman Challenge. Although he did not win the challenge, He has received various other recognition in different film festivals, winning best experimental film, best student director, best director super short film, a critics award and multiple selection and finalist awards.
